REMOTE

The REMOTE project aims to realize and develop a multi-parameter home telemonitoring system in patients with a first diagnosis of heart failure to reduce re-hospitalization rates and associated healthcare costs, while improving quality of life. An advanced solution will be tested, of custom-built hardware components (wearable sensors, embedded devices, IoT, etc.), innovative software, clinical data analysis based on artificial intelligence techniques, machine learning and deep learning for monitoring vulnerable patients.

The research and development project, MultipaRamEter teleMOniToring of oldEr patients with heart failure (REMOTE), aims to improve the ‘quality of life’ of vulnerable people, especially those affected by heart failure, by means of integrated tools, ad hoc multi-parameter sensors, predictive analysis of pathologies based on artificial intelligence models and methods, remote-controlled medical devices that allow the patient to be as autonomous as possible.
