MUS&O – Multisensory & Holographic Project (European Funds PON Research and Competitiveness H2020 MISE 2017-2020).
The project transfers technologies and creative systems with a high rate of innovation to the ICT industry, aimed at facilitating online learning in the field of cultural heritage and promotes access and use of the artistic, cultural and tourist heritage through a demonstration prototype. With this project we want to develop a methodology that while not giving up the rigor of historiographic research allows us to create multimedia products based on information and communication technologies also in augmented reality environments and interactive holographic projection systems to facilitate learning cultural access and use of cultural, artistic and tourist assets. We want to create a demonstration project suitable for transferring creative technologies and systems to the ICT industry according to new paradigms for the media and new forms of content, including services for entertainment, the creation of interactive digital content and access to them through the mobile technology and the use of multimedia, multisensory content and holographic projection interaction systems. The objective to be achieved is to improve the enrichment of the experiences of users and visitors, also favoring the adaptive and contextualized learning of digital cultural and scientific resources and means in a multilingual and multicultural environment, especially in the sector that concerns cultural heritage.
