Research

Geomatics

The LabGeoInf research laboratory focuses on original applications of special techniques: geomatics engineering, technologies and tools for the acquisition, processing, management, analysis, and presentation of geospatial data. LabGeoInf is based on a range of synergetic activities including geospatial modeling, geospatial analysis, geospatial databases, geospatial technologies, FEA/FEM analysis, information systems, systems design, spatial cognition, human-computer interaction, mobile computing, wired and wireless network technologies.

Machine Learning

The LabGeoInf research laboratory focuses on original theoretical and applied research for computing systems and machine learning algorithms for engineering applications in health care wereable and biomedical images. Other recent research areas concern the machine vision with machine learning systems for convolutional neural networks applied both in territorial areas and on biomedical images.

Computer Science

The LabGeoInf research laboratory focuses on three topics: Research to develop knowledge, skills and background in the design and organisation of computer systems with an emphasis on data analytics. Research to evaluate design paradigms, languages, algorithms, and techniques used to develop complex software systems. Research to evaluate and respond to opportunities for developing and exploiting new technologies with data analytics concepts and tools.
