Digital Transformation and Smart City

In a context of Digital Transformation, such as a Smart City, it is of considerable importance to plan the cities of the future. A smart city can be defined as a city that includes a digital layer, which is used not only to store information about the city but above all for its governance. In a scenario of this type it is obvious to find yourself managing large quantities and different types of data (Big data), this type of organization involves a considerable effort in integrating them. Today data are produced by numerous devices (IoT), by users connected in a more or less shared network system, many times these data are organized in various ways that do not allow easy connection between them, at the same time we can recognize that the data

contain an intrinsic richness if related in a coherent way. Based on these premises, this workshop aims to organize and analyze data in a “Smart Data” logic to favor an enrichment of the services that can be used in “Smart Services” systems.

Important Dates

May 10, 2021: Deadline for paper submission to the General Tracks. Workshops may have their own deadline
May 30, 2021: Notification of Acceptance
20 June, 2021: Submission deadline for the final version of the Proceeding Paper (hard deadline)
September 13-16, 2021: ICCSA 2021 Conference

All accepted papers will be included in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series and indexed by Scopus, EI Engineering Index, Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (included in ISI Web of Science), and several other indexing services. The papers will contain linked references, XML versions and citable DOI numbers.

The authors can submit abstracts and papers to your session accessing the electronic submission site:

If the user is not registered in the electronic submission site, she / he has to register before proceeding with the submission.
After login, from her / his personal page she / he will be able to submit first an abstract (phase 1), then a full paper (phase 2), selecting your session from the list of sessions in the submission forms.
The author will be able to update the paper content and the session to which it belongs, until the submission deadline for the session will be expired.
